Well, there is something that I have learned since becoming a homeowner, that I used to take for granted....no more maintenance man! Anytime something goes wrong.....guess who? So far, nothing has happened that requires my expertise...{;-) and hopefully it will be quite awhile before any circumstances happen. (knock on wood) Another thing that I have learned since moving by Island Lake..Geese have a funny way of using air traffic patterns to land. What I mean is that they have a certain way of landing that is awfully interesting. Let's say there are 50 of them. They will peel off in groups of about 10 to 20 to land. They make circles around the lake before descending and landing. After the first group does this, another group will circle and land; etc. I think the FAA learned this technique by watching them. :-) That's it for today.
